It is business as usual in relations between the West and the Islamic Republic of Iran. I’d like to know why so many people who joined in 2009 seem to use offensive language or statements - the type of stuff that the media uses to hurt FR reputation.

I don’t know about vintage years or any pattern of FR membership dates but I agree that the use and tone of our language should meet a standard that demonstrates self-control and civility. Otherwise, what we say can be used by our opponents do diminish our message.
I’m more concerned withe the reputation of FR and the media quoting it. Also, this is a conservative site, sorry if i’m a ‘prude’. But, I was a bit taken back when I saw it posted on the front page, then changed to ‘wimp’.

Yes, they are, and if you want people to pay attention to the situation (as opposed to your salty language) you should report the fact in a straightforward manner. Note that your post reported a significant fact. Note also that all we’re talking about is bad language. Those who aren’t talking about it probably dismissed it as a junk post because of the language. If you want to help stop the killing, be a more powerful speaker and writer.
I automatically suspect people with 2004, 2008, and 2009 start dates...until they prove otherwise, that is...

they made Obama look like he could walk on water, as it turns out, he is in so much water, so deep, so far over his head, no person has ever been to that depth before.
Obama is in Davy Joneses locker, so much for walking on water .. but man he just keeps throwing led weights in his pockets.
