The reason the country is uneasy about the Obama administration's response to this attack [the Christmas bomber] is a distinct sense of not just incompetence but incomprehension. From the very beginning, President Obama has relentlessly tried to downplay and deny the nature of the terrorist threat we continue to face. Napolitano renames terrorism "man-caused disasters." Obama goes abroad and pledges to cleanse America of its post-9/11 counterterrorist sins. Hence, Guantanamo will close, CIA interrogators will face a special prosecutor, and Khalid Sheik Mohammed will bask in a civilian trial in New York -- a trifecta of political correctness and image management.

I believe, along with Dick Cheney, that Obama considers the worldwide Jihad an irritating distraction that forces him to devote time and energy from his primary goal which is the transformation of American society.

Cheney:

Why doesn’t he want to admit we’re at war? It doesn’t fit with the view of the world he brought with him to the Oval Office. It doesn’t fit with what seems to be the goal of his presidency — social transformation — the restructuring of American society.

Obama has always been against fighting violent Jihad as a war rather than as a police and criminal issue. He believed that with the end of the war in Iraq and the appeasement of adversaries throughout the world, he would be free to devote his presidency toward a seismic cultural shift to right what he sees as the racial wrongs that America has and is committing. His is essentially a domestic racial and political agenda formed around the ideas fostered by his mentors Jeremiah Wright and Bill Ayers. He is perhaps the most racist President we have had since Woodrow Wilson.

The interesting thing is the softened” policy of DHS under Napolitano. It allows this wiggle room to happen on the ground. I mean these terrorists have been re classified as potential criminals, not enemy combatants or terrorists. They are innocent until proven guilty ( after they have destroyed hundreds of lives).

This is a ludicrous political correctness at its most egregious and injurious. Napolitano, and all the DHS leftist appointees should be frog marched before a firing squad of a Citizens Safety Committee, and offed right on the spot. WE ARE A NATION AT WAR!!!

And our pretend president should be arrested and frog marched right on out of the white house. He is not a natural born American as required by Article II of our constitution. His security policy obviously reveals that he is not an American, he has sided with the enemy.

America is now essentially defenseless, a stationary target with continually adjustable security guidelines which allows the infiltration and illegal/legal immigration of the enemy.

Our government has become treasonous to its own citizenry.And they are SUPPOSED to work for us? Those days are now long gone, over.The government has become the enemy of the people.

This flight 235 fiasco and its aftermath proves it beyond any doubt.

This has absolutely been the case heretofore.

But Obama (whether he is yet aware of it or not) is in the process of being mugged by reality.

His entire attitude toward "man-caused disasters" is being called into question and he will either have to admit that he has been wrong (as evidenced only by a change in procedure) or, as Krauthammer says, admit by his silence that he suffering from both incompetence and incomprehension.

There is of course one alternative and that is that he will just blow more hot air in our direction.

Personally, I think more hot air will encourage the spread of the idea that he is on the side of the jihadis and should be charged with aiding and abetting the enemy (Article 104 of the UCMJ, if I remember correctly).

Please forgive my being candid , but the fact of the matter is that Obama WILL HAVE the complete change of the structure of US Society, or he will destroy it. We have two alternatives. Complete socialism or complete destruction.
