Chris Matthews asked Politico's Jonathan Martin, "does he have a thing with Politico? Does he have like a hot-line to you guys?" Matthews said to Martin "he uses you like you'd use Drudge or somebody, why does he go to you guys?"
Martin responded to Matthews saying "you'd have to ask the Vice President, Chris, I'm not sure, we aggressively report on both sides." Chris Matthews then told Martin "it's not reporting, he feeds you this stuff, I like Politico but he's feeding you guys this crap."

I’d like to see Mr. Steele of RNC come out and say, “Mr Cheney has been Secy of Defense, White House Chief of Staff, a wartime Vice Prez, a Member of Congress, a CEO of a huge company, on and on...so WHO exactly is saying he should shut up, and what are THEIR qualifications?!”
CARP? What does Matthews have against feeding people CARP? I think even Jesus said that it was good to feed people CARP and even better to teach them how to fish for CARP.
CARP is such an interesting fish that they even named a medical condition after it, one I have - CARPal Tunnel Syndrome. Makes me want to spawn in the ocean once a year.
Now, if Chrissy Matthews had said that Cheney was KARPING too much, then I might listen to him, but plain old CARP, with Whitefish and others makes a mightly tasty GEFILTE FISH.
I hope that Matthews isn’t against Jewish foods.
Besides, he can put healing CARP fishoil on his tingly leg. That might help take away the feeling.

Could Matthews sink any further into caricature? A magazine devoted to national politics is supposed to NOT cover the remarks of a former two-term Veep?
