My wife got me the CD. The beauty of Boyal’s note rendering brings me to tears even tough I tend to be the stoic type.
Her voice is a wonderful gift from Boyal to all of us and from my wife to me. I hope this bit of noteriaty leaves her in good finsncial shape for the rest of her life.

I’ve tried to listen to her a few times. I don’t see what the big deal is.
Is it because people thought she was too unattractive to sing? I can think of a few rockers less attractive than she.
i’d suggest not trying to analyze it too much.

I love her too. I listened online to her earlier version of “Cry Me a River.” Wow, it was magical! Maybe people love her music because it bubbles up from her own past pain and sacrifices.

As the article stated, which is true, “Every word, every tone, every expression is on the mark.” “On the mark” are the three key words. In all seriousness, you must be tone deaf...

Was that...awe inspiring or what? Brings tears to my eyes every time I watch it. Here’s this somewhat frumpy older lady and you can just see the bored/are you serious expressions on the faces of the audience and judges, and then she opens her mouth.

i am sitting here watching from her site the susan boyle special in various parts on tv recently.
sometimes i can’t see to type because of the tears of joy.
it’s about time.
i have not had tears in a long long time—too long a time.
the tears are joy for her. she deserves every gift now coming her way.

Yes, I feel the gods are looking after me since I live in Panama. You have no idea how lucky I feel seeing what is happening in our United States.
Panama finally has a very smart, honest president. His entire salary is divided up between three charities. Also, all past and present crooks that were/are in politics are going jail in spite of their political affiliation. He is another Palin.
