Video: Fairbanks Daily News-Miner: The two-ton “Frozen Gore” sculpture isn’t exactly a tribute. It’s a tongue-in-cheek critique of Gore’s vocal belief in man-made climate change, complete with hot air pouring out of his mouth. Local businessmen Craig Compeau and Rudy Gavora contracted the piece from award-winning sculptor Steve Dean and say they’ll keep erecting one each winter until Gore accepts an invitation to discuss the global warming issue in Fairbanks....

Global Warming guru Algore – wearing his ever present Nobel medal – is seen here en-route to an important “scientific” conference in Nassau hosted by the UN/IPCC where he was to be the keynote speaker.

Topics on the agenda were to have included “Finding a Good Bail Bondsman,” “Not ALL Criminal Lawyers Are Sharks,” “Changing Careers for Dummies,” “You Want Fries With That?,” “How To Encrypt Emails,” “The Best Prison Jobs,” “Getting Along With Your Cellmate” and “Getting Used to Sleeping On Your Back.”

A sudden – and unfortunate – blast of what the “scientist” in charge of the conference termed “global warming” caused the meeting to be rescheduled until Algore can be thawed some time next Spring – assuming there will BE one.

Our reporter has learned that the influential conservative web site Free Republic has launched a contribution drive to rent a freezer locker in which to keep Gore for the 10 to 15 years estimated it will take for the so-called “mainstream media” to begin covering the Climategate story.

A very bitter former Senator and Vice President Al Gore seen here en-route back to prison after a federal appeals court refused to review his 20 year sentence for his lead role as spokesperson in the “Climategate” fraud conspiracy. The same court recently rejected the appeals of the lengthy sentences of the 137 alleged UN “scientists” – Gore’s co-conspirators – for falsifying data supporting so-called Cap and Trade legislation that trial testimony disclosed would have virtually destroyed what remained of the U.S. economy while unjustly enriching Gore and a cabal of insiders.

The sound track of the video clip is a fragment of a Gore stump speech. In it he asserts that the Earth and Venus are identical in size and the amount of carbon present except our carbon is sequestered in fossil fuels while on Venus the carbon is all in the atmosphere. On this basis he asserts that Venus has a surface temperature of 855° and Earth 59° because of a runaway greenhouse effect.

He neglects to say that Venus has almost no water and the Earth is about 80% covered by water and that water serves as a buffer to regulate the amount of free CO₂ in the atmosphere. He also neglects the fact that the Earth orbits the Sun at an average distance of 150 million kilometers whereas Venus orbits at 108.2 Million kilometers. Since the power delivered by the Sun to an orbiting body varies in proportion to the inverse square of the orbital radius, Venus get's two and one half times as much solar radiation then does the Earth. The surface temperature of Venus is most likely not due to a runaway greenhouse effect but rather it location with respect to the Sun.

I watched the video with my boys (aged 13 and 9) and after drawing the sun, venus and the earth on my whiteboard, my 9-year-old asked: “Isn’t venus warmer because it’s closer to the sun?”

Even my 9-year-old gets it, but he’s not trying to sell us something.
