Dodd Warns Obamacare is Hanging By a Thread (Anybody Got A Scissor?)

Chris Dodd ever the dutiful democrat is working hard to push through Obamacare despite his retirement announcement. Of course this legislation is diametrically opposed to the best interests of his home state, as Connecticut is home to many insurance companies. Dodd's health care plans may be a death knell to a major industry in his home state further alienating voters from the Senator.

Dodd was on CNBC today and gave some answers that reveal why he was in trouble in the polls before he "was retired"

Health care reform is "hanging on by a thread," and one or two votes could determine the outcome of the heavily-debated bill, Democratic Sen. Chris Dodd told CNBC Monday.

Well that's something we all knew after all it just passed by the skin of its teeth in each house of congress.

"Everyone feels, I guess, to some degree who have been for this, that they would have liked something different, and that's not uncommon when you're considering an issue of this magnitude," Dodd said.

The Senator is saying that everyone hates this bill, and he is about to help ram it through congress....and that's OK? If everyone hates it, than shouldn't everyone vote against it?

Well, at least he is admitting it. The other Dems are saying the American people are doing nothing but praising them for all this work on their ‘wonderful’ bill.

Do any of you watch the morning 6-9 “Squawk Box” segment on CNBC? Joe Kernan and Becky Quick are very good. Carl Qintanilla is a Democrat hack, but he was out today and Judd Gregg sat in as the guest host. It made for very enjoyable television.

Even the Chris Dodd piece was digestable, it may have been the first time I sat though a Dodd interview without damaging the TV set. Maybe it was the thought that by year end I won’t have to look at his ugly friggin’ face anymore. Hopefully he rides off into the sunset, not morphing into a Treasury Secretary even more reprehensible than the current one.

I lived in Bermuda during the ‘90’s, Dodd made a trip down there once and was given a hard time by Customs - he became irate, insisting that rules don’t apply to him because he is a US Senator. So they gave him the full cavity, just so he had no doubts as to who was boss down there. Couldn’t happen to a more deserving guy. ;)

C-4 might be better.

It could take out Amnesty as collateral damage.

Omoslem’s “US Citizen; Christian; non-Commie” cover story is hanging by a thread.

No, nukes are to dangerous.

Maybe something limited to just the Capital area. Removes all life forms and paper. Neutron bomb with very limited capability.

The a little e-bomb to wipe out the computers.

Then ... start over. From scratch.

Don't get your hopes up. This is the same strategy they play every time. They say its almost dead and then whip the bill out and vote immediately.

I’m surprised Omoslem isn’t more worried about gays, since he’s clearly blazing.

My gay neighbor keeps saying “HE’S CLEARLY GAY.”
