May God help these Haitian people. The poverty there is overwhelming and much unlike the poverty in the USA. With this natural disaster, things will be much worse for them.

When I see this, it makes me think how fortunate we are to live in this country, alot of these people will have zero medical attention

At the risk of being accused of being facetious and cold-hearted, what is Castro’s Cuba doing to help?

After all, Cuba is much closer and we always are hearing about how superior Cuba’s society is to ours.

Anybody hear from Venezuela’s Hugo Chavez yet?

If all of the socialist mecca’s are so great and grand, shouldn’t they be first on the scene and helping out their neghbors too?

And that my friend is what sets the United States apart from other countries. We live in the greatest country in the world. We help everyone. That’s who we are and I am so grateful to be an American.

I heard on Fox News this afternoon that President Obama sent condolences to the people of Haiti right after the earth quake.

At an Indian conference and In between some shoutouts and other business, he mentioned the terrorist shooting at Fort Hood. *isses me off!

You remind me that wealth needs to created first before it can be used to help others.

I heard on Fox News this afternoon that President Obama sent condolences to the people of Haiti right after the earth quake.

"My thoughts and prayers go out to those who have been affected by this earthquake. We are closely monitoring the situation and we stand ready to assist the people of Haiti," he said.

It's laughable. I actually laughed, circumstances notwithstanding.
