Here is video of President Obama, flanked by Vice-President Biden, speaking this morning on the devastating earthquake in Haiti.
Obama said the "people of Haiti would have the full support of the United States" in efforts to rescue victims, and to provide needed supplies of food and water.
Obama said the United States is trying to locate Americans who are in Haiti to make sure of their condition.
Search and Rescue teams will arrive later today, and other supplies are on the way. . . . (VIDEO)

That didn’t work out so well for them when we “supported Haiti” in ‘94.

Its going to be a total disaster in relief aid unless a military presence is sent first to protect the supplies being flown in.
In a couple of days there will be massive rioting, if just civilians are sent (with their banner waving gymnasts leading) its going to turn into a monumental debacle.
I am leaning into something that it may be due for a regime change in Haiti, and we should consider that.

Anyone else think that Obama could have just as easily been dedicating a new post office when he read his remarks this a.m.? Someone wrote the right words for him, but he is so utterly emotion-less that it is scary. He is truly like some alien species.
