The damage for the bill has been significant. In Nebraska, a Dec. 28 Rasmussen poll showed Heineman, who opposes the bill, soundly beating Mr. Nelson in a theoretical 2012 match-up, 61% to 30%. This is devastating to Nelson, who is 68 years old and was last re-elected in 2006 with 64% of the vote.

The Democrats are in trouble when it comes to the health care bill in general and that legislation will likely serve as a referendum in the 2012 elections.

Just heard this morning on Rush that Ben Nelson was out to dinner at a pizza parlor and was confronted by an angry constituent asking why he voted for the healthcare bill. Before he could answer the rest of the people in the restaurant began to ‘boo’ and some lady shouted “get the hell out of here”. He and his party beat a hasty retreat.

God, I love Nebraskans!!!!!

If we don't win big this year there won't be any elections in 2012. Look at what the dems are doing with the Black Panthers, the attacks on the people at the town halls and the assaults on reporters asking tough questions. We have 110% turnouts in Minnesota and more absentee ballots being returned in Virginia then were sent out. But not a single investigation or incitement.

Unless we win big in 2010, and big enough that they can't cheat, they will simply rig the redistricting after the census and the elections of 2012 so that we have Chavez on the Potomac.
