Stimulus Money for Scientific Frauds and a New Book on Climate-gate

Somehow I missed this story the first time around, but I’m glad to have caught the follow-up. Back on December 2, Paul Chesser at American Spectator reported that Michael “Dude, where’s my hockey stick” Mann received over half a million dollars in stimulus funds. What new jobs did that create? Who the hell knows. All we do know, which El Rushbo reiterated in the first hour of yesterday’s show, is that the “Stimulus Package” is nothing but a slush fund to hand out to Democrats’ favorite peeps.

Since watching the Climategate scandal explode a week before Thanksgiving, debris from the mushroom cloud has rained upon the earth, and there are hints that some folks (other than me and my fellow climate realists) are getting curious about how the alarmists are funded. That lie has been perpetuated from the start of the AGW scam by all manner of apologists for the hoax. Some few "deniers" have accepted chump-change honoraria for presenting their scientific opinion on the subject, but that pales in magnitude and significance to accepting mega-buck Big Government grants to produce fraudulent research that serves only to give Big Government cover to grow even Bigger. Mann has prostituted the scientific method for personal gain. He is beneath contempt IMHO.
