Scott Brown makes the rounds on the Hill!
WASHINGTON - JANUARY 21: U.S. Senator-elect Scott Brown (R-MA) (C) arrives on Capitol Hill for meeting with different senators January 21, 2010 in Washington, DC.
Brown's first call was to Senator John McCain (R-AZ). McCain was an early backer of Brown's campaign and a contributor as well.
Senator John Kerry (aka "Lurch"), the senior senator from Massachusets, appealed to Brown's sense of bipartisanship and tried to nudge Senator-elect Brown into supporting a slimmed down version of health care reform. Apparenly Kerry believes that bipartisanship means, you agree with him, not the other way around.
