McCain is just plain maddening and I wish Sarah Palin could just walk away. But either McCain or someone advising him does seem have good political instincts. He also saw something in Scott Brown. Unfortunately he recognizes the rising stars and latches onto them early. As irritating as this is. We are not going to win elections by attacking the rising stars. It is not their fault that McCain is helping them out early and then looking for favors later.
When one departure from "orthodoxy" gets you the scarlet letter, we're talking ridiculous here.
I've seen unflinching advocates for a strong national defense, pro-life policies, and fiscal restraint labeled RINOs because they supported an environmental measure. It's laughable.
McCain only got as many votes as he did for the Presidential election because we voted for HER on the ticket, not HIM. Funny, Michael Savage seemed to think that she was a detriment to the ticket. I say it was just the opposite. If it was just McCain on the ticket with anyone else, he wouldn’t have gotten as many votes as he did.
That’s why this is an unnecessary move.

first of all, no he doesn't... he doesn't care... but even if he did "behave" for nine months because of Palin, doesn't bother you? you are essentially saying that he has to behave until he wins re-election... and then once he's won, he can go back to his same ol' ways... and we know his ways... how can you be okay with that?
