Um, there's nothing wrong with that pronunciation. In fact, I believe that is the most common one. I've never heard anyone call it Tower of Bay-buhl even though that is a legitimate pronunciation.
As for Øbama's latest whinings? It seems someone is advising him to "act Right". Go to prayer breakfast, bring up the fact that you still haven't decided on a church but you get a daily inspirational message on your Blackberry, etcetera. Trouble is, Øbama just can't stop mixing the jibs and jabs in with his new message.
At 6 AM, on 12/6/09, the results were: 67% “Yes” — 33% “No” — and this is AOL, hardly a conservative website.
That’s some fringe — AOL visitors, by a factor of two-to-one, believe Obama should release his bona fides and end the controversy.

Free the Long Form!
Obama, your 1961 Hawaii long form birth certificate will tell us if you were born at Kapiolani Hospital, or somewhere else.
I don't think that even dear Ms. Dr. Fukino would dare make a fake 1961 Hawaii long form birth certificate and secretly file it in the Hawaii birth records.
So, Obama, if someday we are lucky and Hawaii releases your long form birth certificate, I'm pretty sure that the hospital name on the birth certificate will be the correct name.
Obama, and what about the name of the doctor who delivered you? Can you give us his name?
Nothing is stopping you or your press secretary from publicly mentioning and praising your birth doctor's name at a press conference.
That is, mentioning your birth doctor's name in public is certainly not prevented by some so-called privacy laws that no one has ever heard about.
So why not do us all a big favor and tell us the name of your Hawaii birth doctor? Come on. Be brave.
Sadly, you won't give us his name, but his name is surely on your Hawaii long form birth certificate, if a doctor at Kapiolani Hospital delivered you at that hospital as you claim.
This is my take on Obama’s status.
Framers did not want someone with divided loyalty serving as President.
Either release the certificate, explain why there is not one or step down.
Fairly easy to understand and one does not need to be Harvard educated to understand.
I am just as interested in all of Obama’s OTHER records. There is a good chance he got financial aid for college by means of fraud. We could lock the SOB up for that!
I wonder why nobody wants to recognize the Elephant in the middle of the room? Obama graduated as a constitutional scholar, is it somehow possible that he NOT know he is unqualified? If if true, why would he pursue this course of action KNOWING that he is not qualified? Secondly, the Congress, and the Senate are filled with the most learned of people in the US on US Law, and all, or mostly all KNOW that he is not qualified, simply by his natural fathers Kenyan (british) birth, or his stepfathers Indonesian birth. Clearly when a common man knows he is not qualified, a more learned one definately knows. So what is the political agenda here, and to what end? He was illegally vetted by leaders in the Democratic party, and the blame from every state that qualified him to be on the ballot, was put squarely on these leaders.
Is someone else pulling the strings of our government, and to what end? Why, once it is widely known, is the error NOT corrected? Who is stopping the process, and for what reason?
IMO America is being destroyed from the inside, and our courts are not allowing discovery to proceed. If indeed, our democracy survives, investigations need to be directed by constitutionally knowledgeable servants of the people. SCOTUS needs to investigate this because it is obvious that investigation is warranted. Yet, it flounders with minutae, designed to stave off such investigations. There is obvious subtrafuge going on, and nobody with the clout in the Judicial system, ie. judges, SCOTUS, are willing to take it on. WHY???
Something is afoot that we can only conjecture. That in itself leads one to wonder who really elects our leaders, and who really runs our country.
