My response to M. Morford slanderous piece in S.F. Gate calling law abiding gun owners "murderers", "jingoistic cavemen" and "paranoid cowards" (among other names).

He isn’t going to listen to a “Breeder”.
Morford isn’t worth the bytes to respond. He is the stereotypical neo-hippie. There are other words I would use for him but I would get him banned. He is the type that if his local Starbucks went out of business he would have a hissy fit, completely not self-reliant.
By the way, something that the neo-hippie doesn’t realize is that we also recognize and respect Peet’s private property rights. Something he doesn’t. If Peet’s took the opposite approach, he would be damning them but we would still respect their private property.
Stupid, worthless pieces of AIDS diseased flesh. The only thing good about Morford is that eventually Darwin will evo his progeny out of existance.
Care to share it?
My typical response to people such as this is to challenge them to put a large sign on their property stating, “This is a gun free home.” So far...no takers!
Liberal freedon haters actually believe that no one should have a gun because someone might go nuts, but they also believe that anyone who would have a gun is paranoid.
Once again, they want to shape our consciousness and display it for what it is not.
Does America need to learn the word freedom? Apparently so.
By the way, gay Americans who claim the phobic are really gay should be the ones considering why they stay in America. Apparently they do not realize that the rest of the world is taking notice of this grand hypocrisy and are sending suicide bombers over for a reason.
IT does not please foreign countries when America attracts people.
So he figures guns serve no purpose other than to kill people, eh? Apparently he’s never been on a skeet range, target range or out hunting.
I’d like to get a figure on how many rounds of ammunition are expended in the U.S. every year. My guess is that 95% is used for target shooting (including skeet), 4.99+ percent is used in hunting, and almost all the rest is used in law enforcement, and a vanishingly small amout is used for actually shooting someone.
I always like to respond to those types with, “What do I have to be paranoid about, I have a gun.”
I left the following comment:
Sir:
“that is designed solely to kill other living creatures “
Actually, the overwhelming majority of guns are used for recreational purposes. 99.999+ of guns are never, ever used to kill another living creature. They’re used to put holes in paper targets or else to blow clay disks out of the sky. Of the very few that are ever used to kill another living creature, the vast majority are used to hunt, providing food for the table and helping to ensure that our elimination of the natural predators in the environment does not result in overpopulation and death by disease or starvation of prey species. A microscopically small number of guns are used to kill human beings.
Now, you likely possess sufficient economic and racial privilege that you live in an environment where you don’t have to worry about criminals threatening you. But not everyone is that insulated from reality. Remember; when seconds count, the police are only minutes away.
I can't believe he would say those things about Sen. Feinstein. That is being really mean to an old lady, who also has one of only six CCW permits in San Francisco.
