One of the marks of a truly lousy leader is publicly placing blame on their subordinates. In most cases the subordinate is being blamed unfairly, and even when the staff is at fault, publicly shifting the blame reflects an unwillingness to shoulder any responsibility. President Obama has this nasty habit of placing the blame solidly on the lap of his subordinates. Then again, one would expect nothing less from someone who during the campaign, threw his Grandma and his spiritual mentor under the bus.
Many Commentators criticize the President's interactions with Congress, they don't understand why some of his most important legislation isn't written by the White House and sent over to Congress for amendment and passage. Democrats in both the house and senate have criticized the Obama over this issue, and his failure to show leadership by presenting his preferences especially during the arduous health care process.
There is one simple reason for the President's reluctance to get involved, plausible deniability. As long as he publicly keeps controversial decisions at arms length, he can place the blame on others.
Obama's latest victim is Attorney General Eric Holder.

It is not going to be long before Jack Squat runs out of people to throw under the bus on this matter before he is going to have to face reality and admit that he was wrong and should be thrown under the bus.

I had the good fortune to be a successful CEO multiple times, not because of me but because of the very talented people I worked with. That said, I bore the responsibility if things didn’t go well and that is as it should be. It’s what being a leader is about. This moron is so teflon that he ducks and weaves from blame more than Ali did in the ring. He is either stupid or incompetent, which is it? He knows nothing about running anything and he has shown himself to be a dickless weasel. How’s all the hopey changey s*it going for you people that voted for him?
His upbringing and his education has taught him to think of himself as a victim, and victims can never be blamed, nor be required to accept responsiblity.

I can think of no better place for Eric Holder.
I'd have to ask in his case why couldn't it be both? He is after all, "The One We Have Been Waiting For" which is perhaps the most egregious, self promoting hyperbole ever uttered by a politician since homo erectous voiced his first syllable.
