Fantastic post — but the following passage had me LOL:
>a Patrick Kennedy, whose inherited wealth, fabled genes, and Phillips Andover pedigree produced a legislator whose most notable accomplishment over a 16-year congressional career was redecorating a concrete barrier on Capitol Hill with his car during an alcoholic bender. <<
That was worth the read. The kennedy clan can’t see that they are soon destined for the dustbin of history. In the name of the USA, I pray it is soon.
And, Sarah — you go girl!
Bump for later Monday reading!
Heh heh.
“Sarah’s brain” sticks to some of the worst offenders, but I’ve also heard the guys who wrote “Game Change” portray her in a pretty bad light, i.e., crazy. I don’t really want to pay for the book, but might try to thumb through that part for free in the store - it’s supposedly toward the back.
“Dr. George also points to my governorship as the only “serious” job I’ve ever held. Spoken like a card-carrying member of the political and media elite. I was the mayor of a small town, was on its city council, helped my husband with his commercial fishing business, and worked as a waitress to pay for college, all the while bearing and raising five children. Not serious?
Hey, I’m just Sarah Palin’s brain, but there are three hundred million people in this country engaged in just this kind of unserious’ stuff. It’s called work. It’s called life. And it’s the stuff that de Tocqueville celebrated. And he was a French aristocrat — how much more elite can you get than that?”
This so true about Will’s view of her career. Mayor, city council, etc....not serious jobs?
Guaranteed to make ya smile!
LOL and WOO-HOO!
(Please ping Sarah’s list).
Love Sarah. She made some mistakes while she was Governor. But I would vote for her again.
LOL
I don’t know who Stuart Schwartz is, but the writing reads like Ann Coulter.
My neurons are not stuck on “I” or 100% control of the government.
Oh my!!! Woohoo!
Terrific!!
This and the video of Andrew Breitbart at Cpac this past weekend - and, well, the leftist haters don’t know it yet but the Tsunami is about to totally overwhelm them....LOLOLOL!
Awesome.
It’s pretty good. The last paragraphs are the best.
I wish Mark Steyn would do something like this, comprehensively. Now THAT would be a WITHERING take-down.
THIS IS A GREAT READ,
Take that Savage, George Will, etc.
BTTT
Anybody who says that only the left operates on emotion and feeeelings must have missed this sort of crap published by supposed conservatives.
Is American thinker trying to enter Recovery?
