Who cares if they tried to get Levin banned from Fox? His friend Sean Hannity could intercede. As far as "using information straight from Levin's book without giving him credit"...well, Mark Levin is an attorney, why doesn't he sue? Could it be that it's not really the case?

Of course you're not going to censor anyone. (You don't have the power to do so.) But I know you're going to continue to try and divide by posting threads that ridicule a great number of people because they happen to appreciate the work of Glenn Beck. We all lose when that happens.

Clam up. Last thing we need is yet another RINO Judas.

If I’m a RINO, then you’re definitely a “Becker.” Now off to worship your idol, and I’ll go worship God.

Why do you insist that liking, admiring, or just enjoying Glenn Beck worship? How pathetic.

Dang that first amendment anyway, eh?

Have I or anyone else suggested the first amendment go away?

No

Should I counter speech which lumps all Republicans into one group and which I know is counterproductive to purging the GOP of RINOS and defeating Democrats this fall?

You betcha.

The first amendment dodge was used by Ward Churchill and his supporters in the ACLU you know. They couldn't defend what he said so they tossed up a straw man. His defenders pretended his critics were attacking the first amendment by attacking him.

Now I can’t even criticize anyone. Who cares if I do? You “Beckers” sure are sensitive about Glenn Beck. And Judas no less. I bet you voted Perot...didn’t you, Dead Corpse.

Oh, like they ridiculed others on this thread. Hypocricy on full display here at Free Republic. It really doesn't surprise me anymore. That's what happens when you've fallen under the spell of a snake oil salesman.

Yes, you just did. You said that we can't spend the last 8 months before the election "letting Beck tell us..." something or another. Now, the only way to stop "letting Beck tell us" something is to violate his first amendment rights. Beck, like every citizen, can speak as he sees fit. If you choose not to listen, that is your choice. But to prevent him from telling his story is a violation of the first amendment. Period.

I voted Perot. Rather regret it now, but he was the best of the top 3 candidates running. Unfortunately, the worst of the 3 won, but that's history.

You'd think that the Republicans would have learned a little from that election.

Like I said, how pathetic. Have fun. I hope you learn how to spell some day.

You'd think that those who voted for Perot would've learned that snake oil salesmen are not how you reform the Republican Party.

And how exactly am I going to do that? Send U.S. Marshals in and have him put in Gitmo? I can't violate his first amendment rights if I don't have the power to do it even if I wanted (which I don't) do I?

Come on...you know what I was suggesting. No one should pay any attention to him. He deserves no following if he continues this.

Now in the case of Ward Churchill, whose defenders also used the "he has a first amendment right to speak!" defense of comments which were indefensible, there were things which could have been done. He didn't have a right to hold a government jobs. With Beck, I'm fine with him speaking whereever he wants. Just would prefer no one buy his "everybody does it" schtick. Why? Because it isn't true.

They’re so mean they’re making me cry, Brugmansian. If you don’t watch it, you’ll be crying too.

This is a stupid attack on Beck and a stupid attempt to slur those who agree with him to any degree.

Which snake oil salesman are you referring to? Steele? McCain? Graham? Snowe? Collins? Crist? Voinovich? Alexander? The internet isn’t big enough to allow me to list them all.

When those people, and the RINOs like them leave the party and conservatives take over, I will support the party. But for now, I will support individuals that best match my views. Some are Republicans, some are not.

You’re the one that suggested not “letting Beck tell us” - you’ll have to figure out the logistics yourself.

I don’t support any of those Republicans. I support Rubio, Christie, J.D. Hayworth, etc... But I’d rather laud the people of America for supporting those individuals than point fingers at RINOs all day long.

We know we have to remove the RINOs, but now is the time for encouragement, not recrimination. American conservatives are rising, and Beck isn’t helping anymore. CPAC only proves it.

I agree with regard to who you support - I support similar.

I disagree that Beck isn’t helping - he’s helping immensely and CPAC proves it. He’s trying to get the party to wake up and recognize the people. If they’re smart, they’ll listen. If not, they’ll slowly fade into oblivion.

We’ll agree that we support conservatives and disagree on Beck. We’re really not that far apart. We just disagree on the method.
