I really like Glenn but I was a bit disappointed when I found out he believes in global warming.
He believes in global warmingYoud be an idiot not to notice the temperature change, he says. He also says theres a legit case that global warming has, at least in part, been caused by mankind. He has tried to do his part by buying a home with a green design and using energy-saving products. Im willing to do anything but use the CFLs, he says of compact fluorescent light bulbs. I put them in once and couldnt stand the way they lit up the room.http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/2456101/posts

Another interesting thing in this article and also concerning to me was the fact that me gives money to liberal groups because his staff does??? Im not sure how you can be a warrior for conservatives and then give money to lib organizations.
He has many liberal pals
Yes, its true. Becks personal publicist, Matt Hiltzik, is a Democratic power player who helped get Hillary Rodham Clinton elected to the U.S. Senate. And let me tell you about Liz Julis, the editor of my magazine, Fusion, he says. Every year, I match charitable donations that my employees make. She ends up giving her money away to some hippie hemp farm somewhere, and she loves to rub it in that Im writing a check for something like that. Shes one of my favorite people because we hardly agree on anything, but we challenge each other.

He matches his employee’s contributions. He believes in freedom of expression. He’s confident enough to do that.

Healthcare Bill and 24
Anyone watching 24 this season? It's tremendous as usual but Glenn and Pat found an analogy with the most agonizing story line of the season. One of the special agents is being blackmailed by an ex-boyfriend, and she decides to go along with a crazy scheme instead of just turning herself in. How does this relate to the current healthcare debate? (Obama today kept the healthcare bill alive.) Find out from radio today. ( Transcript, Insider Audio) |

Solving the debt crisis: What did the Founders do?
The current crop of clowns running things in D.C. rarely look to the Founders for inspiration. President Obama gets his inspiration from himself apparently, as he reportedly has pictures (not of founders) but of himself all over the White House. Perhaps that explains why no one has figured out how to get America's ducks in a row - they've forgotten how we got here. Glenn is on a mission to remind people with the Restoring Honor Rally at the steps of the Lincoln Memorial on 8/28.
Get started by educating yourself. In a special to the email newsletter, author and historian Larry Schweikart takes a look at the 'Revolutionary Debt Bomb' the Founders were faced with and how they solved it. FULL STORY |

Glenn takes no prisoners at CPAC
Calm down, Arianna Huffington, it's a figure of speech. Glenn, as usual, made things a little uncomfortable in the room when he went after both Democrats and Republicans. Not everyone was thrilled with the speech, which goes to show it was brutally honest. Check out Glenn's bipartisan, equal opportunity speech laced with stinging indictments of both sides of the aisle. Watch it ( VIDEO) or get Glenn's commentary and clips here. Green Olympics = Epic Fail
The 2010 Vancouver Olympics are the first Olympic Games to declare their intent to be completely carbon neutral. So, the 2010 Olympics will be a microcosm of what a Green Jobs economy will look like - completely forcing the use of green products no matter what the cost. How has it worked out for Vancouver? HINT: So far, the most notable events in the games have been the death of an athlete and the technical failures that have ruined several events, including the torch ceremony. Glenn explains in his latest video blog. WATCH
ALSO: The IOC has screwed everything else up, but they are making it a top priority for athletes to sleep around safely. They handed out 100,000 condoms at the Olympic Village and proudly see themselves as responsible parents. That's 14.6 per athlete. Is there another winter 'game' we need to know about? FULL STORY |
