Scott Brown and four other Republicans have joined the Democrats to end debate on a phony jobs bill that even the Associated Press points out would create an insignificant number of jobs. Perhaps Mr. Brown should run as a Independent in 2012. ScottBrownForPresident.com is for sale, email us if you are interested.

According to the website I'll list below,Brown has cast three roll call votes. Two were "with Party" and one...the cloture vote...was "against Party".So,early in the game, this rookie is batting .667

Could be worse...

"Beck was right when he said on his radio show , before he outed Debra Medina, that with the rise of the Tea Party, we need to take a long hard look at who is running and who we choose to support. Lots of people are surfacing with little to no track record"

Well, Brown wasn't a 'mistake', he is far better than the alternative, (Martha Coakley). So if the Tea Party helped get him elected it was a good thing overall.

That said, Brown's a disappointment to those of us who at least hoped he'd have the brains to see that Communism is supplanting capitalism, and have the spine to stand up to it at every turn. He said today that 15 billion dollars isn't that much money, it's "nothing compared to the original 100 billion". Duh, Senator Brown. He also said that the latest 15 billion dollar boondogle is "tax neutral". I take that to mean it's coming out of his personal bank account.

Looks like we helped elect another piece of liberal garbage.

Come on, this is Massachusetts we’re talking about. It’s the best we can hope for from that state.

It's supposed to be the other way around. He throws the leftwing Mass voters a bone or two on useless votes and sticks with us on the big ones (like the jobs stimulus bill).

I'm also from the 'gay state', so I appreciate the improvement. But things have eroded so badly in America that a little patient 'improvement' isn't going to be enough, as I see it. I'm far less concerned about voting yeah or nay for some Union position than his voting for another Obama 'stimulous' package just two weeks into his term. Batting 667 sucks if he got two hits in the "big game" that produced no runs, then struck out with two outs, bases loaded, in the 9th, and lost the game by one run. Of the 3 votes he's cast, this latest one was by far the most important. I wish him well, but I'm concerned about him now.

I hear you but, my friend, the saying “You are spitting into the wind” in MA seems appropriate! Your desire to see an anti-Obama, fiscal conservative, etc is exactly what so many of us want out here in the hinter land but oddly, once these guys get elected, the shameless switch seems to go on and they appear to not give a damn...how do we deal with that? People have short memories - let’s hope things don’t get so bad, there will be no turning back...

Only one way, but not quitting, by never giving up. We will continue to fight socialsim and communism and we'll eventually win, because people want to be free. We'll toss Brown out in two years if he disappoints, and start over again, until freedom wins.

Couldn’t agree more! (And you’re sounding like Bushie and the reason for the Iraq war - “...people WANT to be free...”
I just wonder if I have enough yrs left to see the result of fighting the good fight - phew! Seems to be taking a LONG time!

I just put in a bid for it. Anyone who doesn’t, based on this unimportant vote is shortsighted. Oh, and don’t think for a moment that I support him for president.

It did not take Brown long to commit political suicide. In one swoop he alienated the people that elected him. What a slap in the face this is. I wonder if he has a clue of how badly he has hurt himself?

It's a fight that never ends, that's what people have forgotten. As long as there are human beings on this earth there will be selfish, dangerous men and powerful nations trying to steal your freedom to subject you to themselves. They will steal your prosperity to make it their own. Often "they" are in our own country, that's why the Founders gave us the 2nd Amendment rights, and it's why Thomas Jefferson declared, (paraphrase), "governments tend to get corrupt every 20 years".

"I wonder if he has a clue of how badly he has hurt himself?"

I don't think he does. He stated on the Howie Carr radio program that he thinks the people are angry merely because "they haven't read the bill" ---- "they don't know what they're talking about - they are marching lock step with party lines" ---- "this is not the 100 billion dollar bill it started off as".... yada, yada, yada. He, in fact, stole a page from Barak Obama, who feels he can't pass his DeathCare bill merely because he hasn't explained it well enough yet to the (uninformed, ignorant) people.

Scott Brown better realize that it was those of us who wanted him to stand AGAINST Obama at every turn, to stop his socialist agenda, that put him over the top; not moderates. Otherwise, a Republican would never win in Massachusetts. Brown will be a 24 month Senator if he continues to vote for more spending, or wants to throw the Dems a bone now and then for "appearences" sake. His unspoken mandate was to stop Obama, and nothing else. I hope he realizes that.
