General McChrystal who had recently stated that there has been enough fighting in Afghanistan, and that Taliban members can participate in their government, has done it again. As if the Rules of Engagement (ROE) were not already in favor of the enemy, the General has tightened them up once again. Did it ever cross his mind to protect our great troops first? Apparently not.

Islamic expansionism/threat ping list. If anyone wants on or off, please email me. Thanks!
McCrystal, like any career military politician, will do and say exactly what the White House instructs him.
Which is what we really want here, policy decisions made by elected officials and executed by career military officers.
But just not THIS elected official.
All that crap about rules of engagement has its genesis in the White House - This one and the three which proceeded it.
Much as I dislike FDR, they should instead take down HIS “Rules of Engagement” and re-adopt them, or stop wasting American lives and American money doing dirty work for the oil Shiekdoms which they never would do for themselves.
I hear on American TV and through their media, that their military leader wants his troops to "limit night raids"....
Guess when I'm going to do most of my work in preparing to kill American troops???????????
DUH!
please let this be a psyops gambit
This reminds me of a story I heard a few years ago about the UN in Haiti. Fighting with European army rules. In Haiti the UN would send out troops from Europe. They used to laugh at the Americans because the Americans would go out at night and patrol. The criminals would come out at night and shoot at the Americans. But the Europeans would quit at 5:00 pm and go back to their barracks. Leaving the criminals to run the streets. They thought they were so smart and the Americans so stupid to go out when they could get shot. They did not realize what cowards they were making themselves appear to be.
I'm hoping this is disinformation. We own the night. To not exploit our technological advantage with night vision is to tie an arm behind our back, and will result in unecessary US/NATO casualties.
Common sense....
Thanks for sharing that. :)
Deja Vu sounds like a slow transition to Viet Nam ROI’s. Been there done that its the way democrats fight.... ahhhh ..... loose wars
Ohhh. you might scare em.
The list, ping
Thanks as usual Nachum.
Isn’t this ObaMao’s hand-picked guy? No wonder he doesn’t want to fight to win.
Certainly for most of us....one has to wonder...with the lives of our military (gay and non-gay) on the line, why isn't it common sense for the military leaders? What's next? Troop dispositions? Logistical strength? Names of upcoming "secret" operations?
Are our young soldiers really worth this little?
“”Are our young soldiers really worth this little?””
Bring them home. No one in Washington is serious about getting the job done in Afghanistan. How I wish they could all walk off the battlefield and tell Washington to go pound sand. It isn’t right to expect so much of our troops or any of the other NATO troops. There isn’t a brain in the WH that can appreciate or who cares what our military is up against.
If there's one thing we know about McChrystal it's that he wants to protect his own fat political rear-end, first and foremost.
You got it :)
I guess it's just easier to be lazy and dishonest, right, Chris?
Such as?
