Cheerleaders. OK, Facebook fluff. EXCEPT. . . They're in a challenge, and if they can get another ~2200 fans on Facebook, TODAY, their sponsor will donate $5K to a military charity chosen by the Cheerleaders. Anyone know who this team cheers for? I have a soft spot for them, many of the other females in my family over the years have been involved. My niece is currently a cheerleader at her university.Comes with fairly decent sports scholarships.

Having just come off another thread where some female Freepers where hailing the inclusion of women on submarines while Neanderthal male Freepers were describing how it just wouldn't work and how the Democrats social experimentation was destroying the military right along with their budget cuts, (wow, that was the longest run on lead in I have ever written followed by the longest comment on it in parenthesis), I was struck by the last picture in your series with those cheerleaders posing with the Marines.

There is a difference in the sexes and no amount of women's lib will alter that. I don't think you would find a picture of the same three Marines thrilled to pose with male cheerleaders.

Funny how the threads coincide on the same day to prove a point. Imagine five new female submariners who look like that being assigned to a sub with only two showers for an eighty man crew. Imagine the crew hot bunking with those same five female sailors. An overall recipe for disaster.
