I watched the show. She was soooo natural and came across like the next door neighbor to everyone. ....She also received great responses from the audience, which surprised me a lot when considering how liberal the folks in El Lay are!

Sarah Rocked. Natural, funny... did well. The audience started out a little slow, but really did warm up to her.

'The temp back home is 5 degrees below Congress' approval rating'.... LOL... priceless.

Did anyone hear the comment about McCain. She said that he is fighting more for us NOW than we have ever seen.

I may be reading too much into that, but it felt like an underhanded dig.

She is who she is. Some of her mannerisms seem a bit speedy schoolteacherish and may hurt her. But she’s so at ease with herself, she kind of slides right by that.

Love it when she laughs about “getting the liberals all wee-weed up.”

I don’t know this turns into POTUS. But it is turning into a very influential public figure who’s getting better at the game by leaps and bounds. Sarah Palin, bless her, is going to be driving libs all wee-wee for a long time. She just has the magic that turns a seemingly sensible, nose-to-the-earth liberal into a raving maniac. That is a good quality. Because their hidden venom laden fangs are suddenly revealed for people to see.

But I just ask the Lord to show her the right direction that she should go.

She tries too hard. As if she's on a deadline. Needs to calm down.

I sure love her politics though!

Yes I did hear that. She supports McCain now because of loyalty and nothing else. She doesn’t agree with his policies but as she said, he picked her to be his VP, so she is gonna campaign for his re-election..when she said “He is fighting for us NOW more then we have ever seen” I had the same reaction that you did.

I think that is her problem. People want her to come off as a leader.

I thought she did great! And what was even better was the audience reaction - lots of loud applauses. I liked the little digs at Leno and Tina Faye.

She should more of these appearances.

Oh wow, she pulled off a standup comedy routine. Anyone who says she is stupid must be on a different planet. That’s a class act.

I think I understand your meaning.

Thing is, she HAS been a leader in various elected positions in Alaska, including that of Governor.

She hasn’t indicated that she wants to campaign for POTUS, yet many others keep pushing her in that direction. She experienced what a national campaign was like when she had to put up with Juan McLame and his staff, and I don’t think she enjoyed the experience or the way she was treated.

Regardless, she has tremendous influence in the political world and can do a lot to support conservative and Republican views (if we can only overlook her support for McCain).

Thanks for posting, I did not get to see it earlier.

I really like Sarah, but I wish her voice did not get so high and squeaky. Maybe she should get a voice coach.

I think she needs to breathe from the diaphragm.

And I’m sure she did NOT use a teleprompter or it would be splattered all over the mainstream media by now.
