Speed dating is just a way to get introduced to a large number of people so you can figure out who you want to talk with further. I enjoyed it when I attended a ‘5 minute dating’ session some years ago. When they turned it into ‘7 minute dating’ it was too much commitment.

For some time now it has been called hookups. Very quick, very impersonal, physical only (AS SEEN ON TV). No wonder there are 26 STD’s.
