The Almighty Wins one in U.S. Federal court in San Francisco.
Professional atheist Michael Newdow, founder of The First Atheist Church of True Science, lost his claim that the words under God in the pledge of allegiance are unconstitutional and infringe upon his religious beliefs.
The San Francisco 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals rejected Newdows claims and ruled that under God was indeed constitutional.

God sticks it into Newdow’s face from the most liberal district court in the country. Give it up Mikey you are becoming an annoyance.
Wow! I thought sure we would have another fight on our hands on this one. Glad to see this idiot was smacked down.
This from the San Fran 9th circus? Wow!
Actually in the last couple years, they’ve made several good rulings. Wonders never cease!
What a jerk!
He is and if he keeps it up he may end up like Madeline Moron OHare.
I just say the pledge as it was in its second incarnation, before the religious fervor of the 50s added the gramatically screwed-up phrase. I do what the early proponents of “under God” did, say the pledge slightly altered from its official version.
No, they didn't render the decision, the Nineth Circuit did. But they new if they stuck to their usual liberal slant, the guys named above would overturn them....for the umpty-umpth time!
Fortunately a Tradition, instituted in the 50’s by President Eisenhower, after the winning of freedom for the world by the USA and Allies, God granted us freedom...we must fight for the freedom to remain, one symbol, one iconic phrase at a time...let freedom ring! Thanks be to God!
The motives were not quite so lofty. It was more to differentiate ourselves from the evil godless communists. We have it on our money because some idiot thought that if some future archaeologist was digging up our society, we wouldn’t want them to think we were heathen.
Maybe he can go join Madalyn Murry O’Hare.....
I said that in post#6. :-)
are you an atheist?,an anarchist? a troll? where are you coming from I don’t get it ...really, I am serious about my question...because otherwise why would I care what you think??? I am not being flippant to you, seeking truth...
