There's a new term for you: Hydrocarbon-Deniers. Those are people who think that we can magically walk away from fossil fuels and everything will be a-okay and all Americans will have good jobs as a result.

How about Free-market deniers? Or accounting-deniers? The list could go on and on.

The Obamacare proposal to tax "cadillac health care plans" is just another way to attack the UMW (United Mine Workers) and other hydrocarbon extractive industry workers.

Note that Dynamite Haulers, coalminers, oilfield workers, etc. have jobs with higher than normal risk that do tend to drive up the costs of their medical insurance. Then there are the guys who drive the trucks that deliver motor vehicles. They also have high cost high risk policies for medical care.

If you examine Obamacare to identify the target populations he seeks to destroy you cannot avoid noticing that he's after the entire hydrocarbon industry and it's related industries.

the administration announces a three-year offshore drilling ban. This is a policy for economic suicide.

No surprises here.

Economic suicide began in the halls of Congress, on many levels, and now it is wholly up to the American people to put a stop to it. Good Luck.

Our entire civilization is built on fossil fuels. They made the Industrial Revolution possible, thereby freeing people from a (brief) lifetime of dawn-to-dusk backbreaking work, allowing human population and lifespan to increase.
