One sign of an insane foreign policy is the laser-like focus on the absurd at the expense of the important. Over the weekend, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had a heated 45-minutes call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over the announced construction of 1,600 homes in Jerusalem . . . Israel's capital.
There are arguments for having delayed the announced construction of the homes until after Vice President Joe Biden left Israel. It would have been polite to wait. On the other hand, why should Israel have waited? Did Clinton give the world community a "heads up" on the building of malls in suburban Washington DC?
The Obama Administration is the least pro-Israel Administration since the Eisenhower Administration. It has come to light that a partial arms embargo (or really a delivery stoppage) has been quietly imposed on Israel.
Meanwhile, Iran is hurtling toward the creation of a Persian Bomb with which they will threaten American troops, our allies in the Middle East and Europe and America through the potential use of nuclear-armed terrorists. The madmen of Iran have threatened to use nuclear bombs against Israel, which morally gives Israel the green light to proactively use their nuclear weapons against Iran to prevent that eventuality.
For all of the talk about the Israel-Palestinian peace process, the fact is that this is a side show. Actually, it is a non-existent farce. The Palestinians do not want a state, they want to be the world's welfare queens. Iran, and her efforts to destroy the world order, is where ALL of the focus should be.
Sorry Vice President Biden. Your feelings are secondary.

Expected a democrat POTUS, in particular Obama, to be a limp wristed sissy on foreign policy. Never imagined how far he would go in treating our allies like crap. It’s EMBARASSING and puts our country at risk.
