You know the most of the Palin supporters loved Reagan, that's one of the reasons they want Palin, but Palin has flaws but so did Reagan.
I don't think you can do a fair comparison, there are some things Palin does better then Reagan and vise verse!
I voted for Reagan twice and hope to vote for Palin twice stating in 2012!

The funny comment was how Palin would not have turned tail in Beirut like Reagain did.
Palin couldn’t even handle a few back bencher, ankle biting dems in Alaska but now she’s got the gravitus to go up against the most blood thirty murdering Islamic extremists the world has to offer? How delusional can these people be?
Maybe if Alaska had nuclear weapons she’d still be Governor.
Of all the biggest blind spots the Palinistas have the biggest is their belief that her quitting the governorhip is not going to hurt her. There are other potholes but that one will dog her every day of her campaign life and she has little if no believeable defense for it.
Each and every one of her professed reasons at her press conference will be shot out of the water so quick it will make their heads spin off their shoulders. The only reason it didn’t get more air play is because the election was over and the left is husbanding that issue as the final dagger to be driven into the heart of her ‘12 presidential campaign
You may hear squeeks about it from her primary opponents but if she gets the nom it will be a front page issue from the convention to election day. I don’t look forward to it because there really is no way to survive it.
I could do it here, point by point, but I don’t want to get banned again.
Pointing out facts about Palin is not putting her down. I don’t look at politics like you do. I will point out the downside of anyone who runs as well as point out the good points. I have done that with Palin, but I will not ignore the points that the other side will use to damage her. The dirt and untrue nastiness the left flings at her is nauseating and I will defend her on that.
I have already posted on other threads problems that I have with Daniels, Pence, Romney, even though they have not said they would run. Neither has Palin said she would run.
I am realistic. They are all politicians. None of them are perfect and none of them is a messiah. Contrary to what you all seem to worry about which is Mitt Romney, I have already stated that to me he will fizzle like Rudy.
Problem you have is that we do not have a 2012 campaign yet. We won’t for a little over a year. We don’t have a field of candidates. We don’t even know if Obama will be the major dem opposition yet.
Right now people are worrying more about what is being done to us now and the 2010 midterms. Give Palin the next year to win over more voters. You sure can’t win supporters by slinging acid at those with lingering doubts that wish to discuss the viabilty of Palin, the candidate.

I honestly don't know why they believe her the last best hope to save America. All I know is that when asked to support their statement with actual facts they can't, they don't even try or they insult the person who asked them.
The absolute hands-down winner for their particular brand of lunacy is the poster who challenged me to prove the point that he was making but could not himself prove.
That’s right, proof of your sanity in this matter. If you do that, it shows you are really seeking truth and not just in thrall to your some emotional derangement.
