I'm not sure who is more unpopular with FReepers, the SIEU or the IRS, but they went head-to-head today before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and IRS came out ahead, to the tune of $52,000 and change.

Reminds me of the Iran and Iraq war. Too bad they both can’t lose.
If I get to choose, I would rather the IRS lose every time. The SEIU is not a government entity, so when it becomes irrelevant, it goes away. The same cannot be said about government entities.
BTW, when is the IRS going to go after the federal and state employees who owe back taxes?
