Americans can ensure that Obamacare gets repealed.
Step 1. Republicans regain majority control of House and Senate.
Step2. Elect a Republican President.
Step 3. Repeal Obamacare!
It will take a 2/3 majority in the House and Senate, as well as a Conservative President who did not put health care in his state. It will also take willingness to take a stand. I cannot see this happening soon. I am not sure enough Americans are awake yet. The taxes will drive some to the Right, but the onerous lack of care will not kick in soon enough.
Their only hope is to defund it.
I get no less than 10 mails a month asking for help. They all get their postage used up with Pelosi’s and Obama’s photo.
The Republicans didn’t even get rid of PBS/NPR or the Dept. of Education as they once promised to do. Our last Pubbie President hardly vetoed a single spending bill, while the nation went deeper into debt. The Pubbies alienated the fiscal conservatives among the ranks of the Independents (and there are a lot of them). As it stands now, the next Repub. President might be Romney, creator of his own version of socialized medicine in MA, and a sleek, slimy, treacherous creep. Or Huckabee, who is a liberal on everything except social issues. We are in an almost hopeless position now.
Kind of makes my point. One in 30 years. One out of thousands. I don’t even know what it is. Will probably google.
The thing is they don’t even try. Got to respect Democrats for sticking to their evil principles without regard to electoral ramifications.
Maybe this is it. As p*ssed as everyone seems to be I can't see anyone buying McCain whining on about how 'it can't be done' & 'my friends across the aisle' much longer. This party will very soon lose patience for such ideological flakes.

As tho’ we don’t have enough to drive us crazy, how many here know about OFA - Organizing for America - an offshoot of obama’s campaign now in the hands of the Democrat National Committee AND receiving stimulus $$$$.

...repealing this health care will be at least as hard as passing it.
I am sure that there are clever attempts in this bill to make it so that it cannot be repealed, but there has never been a Congress that was constrained by a previous Congress.
That is why they are numbered....if it was a continuing body, they would not be numbered. Same with the President...there is no order rendered by an given President which cannot be undone by the next President. The sitting President may try to tie down the next President, but it will not work.
After months of MSM ‘The Pubs are gonna take away mommas health care...’ Chances of them getting majority slim...

It is a fantasy to think the republicans will ever win the majority. I was about 17 when I realized that, every once in a while, in addition to winning a fight, I would have to take an ass-whippin. Step right up. Take your ass-whippin. Go on home.
Socialism never “fails” until it has destroyed its host country. Russia never recovered from Communism, and is now re-Sovietizing rapidly. Even where Socialist Parties have lost power in Europe, the parties which took over have done nothing to undo the welfare state, and they cannot undo the damage from alien immigration. That is what 0bama and the Left are counting on. They know the Republicans are castrati anyway. “The people” (certainly not the taxpaying people) do not control this country any more.

If the election fails, and the 'rats keep the Congress.....it would be a bad outcome....then get your affairs in order so as to minimize your taxes...as a minimum, redo your w-4 so that you pay a little....do not let Zer0 have a penny to use for free.
I fear it’s too far gone, we have only one real political party,based on and living its principles, the Democrat. The United States as it is now constituted may not be able to recover freedom it was founded upon. Time will tell but experience, I think, points toward our 50 states slipping further into Fascism, not pulling back.
The US has the 2nd Amendment. Not happening.
