Lie of the Day: Lauer asked Obama about why the first family has yet to settle into a D.C.-area church.

"Michelle and I have realized we are very disruptive to services," Obama said. “We occasionally go across the street to St. John’s, which is a church that a lot of presidents traditionally have gone to. We love the chapel up in Camp David. It’s probably our favorite place to worship because it’s just family up at Camp David. There’s a wonderful chaplain up there who does just a great job. So usually when we go to Camp David we go to church on Sundays there."

Yeah—they are so adored and special that they can’t just go to church like all of the other presidents have done—their presence disrupts the service.

I call BS.

Lying sack of poop. America must never again elect someone who did not grow up inside the US.

I do not ever remember America being disrupted by our president attending Sunday services.

I want to add that a relative of mine said that they felt warmth when the president acknowledged nonbelievers in his inaugural address.
