Here is video from a local news interview of California Democrat Sen. Barbara Boxer defending her demand last year of U.S. Brigadier General Michael Walsh to call her "Senator," instead of his use of the polite term, "Ma'am." This video also shows the exchange she had with the General.
Boxer made the demand during a hearing on Capitol Hill. In the interview, she defended the demand as the only time in 18 years she has requested that she be called by her "title." She said if her political opponents want to make an issue of it, "Be my guest."
Oh, I'm sure the Republican nominee will make an issue of it, and should. It shows her arrogance and reveals a lot about her character.

I hope she ends up sleeping in a cardboard box in some nameless park in San Fransisco. What arrogance.
She’s a Democrat, by definition she’s arrogant and of low character.
Her electorate is fine with that.
With a little hope we can box’er up and repeal her come November.....

Her argument, that she never did this before except to the general, is not helping her.

Apparently not content with destroying the integrity of the office, she going to do her best to turn the word itself into a epithet.
I find it instructive that the “only” person she called out for addressing her as “ma’am” instead of Senator was a high-ranking member of the military.
She needs to go.
I wish that the general had answered with something like, “and do you think I got these stars in a Crackerjack box, SENATOR?”
A title is not the same thing as a form of address, dumb-Babs.
SOMEtimes the same term is used for both, but it very often is not.
The head of the Roman Catholic Church is called the Pope. Would you go address him, “Yes, Pope” (if you were being respectful)?

Barbara Boxer exhibits the traits of both ignorance and arrogance that is such a debilitating combination in an elected official.....
Notice that during her diatribe to the offending General she never addressed him by his rank of General....
She obviously does not see the irony in that....

Your “political opponenets” do not actually need to SAY anything.
Simply playing the video in their ads with no commentary will give anyone other than zombie-democrats a very clear look at the REAL you!
