Well, this was special. The Washington Post published this special greeting by Richard Dawkins to Catholics this year during Holy Week:
Your Church is a “rotten edifice” and Pope Benedict XVI is a “leering old villain in a frock.”
Disgusting. Here is the WaPo’s special Easter greeting, Via Pundit and Pundette:
No. As the College of Cardinals must have recognized when they elected him, he is perfectly – ideally – qualified to lead the Roman Catholic Church. A leering old villain in a frock, who spent decades conspiring behind closed doors for the position he now holds; a man who believes he is infallible and acts the part; a man whose preaching of scientific falsehood is responsible for the deaths of countless AIDS victims in Africa; a man whose first instinct when his priests are caught with their pants down is to cover up the scandal and damn the young victims to silence: in short, exactly the right man for the job. He should not resign, moreover, because he is perfectly positioned to accelerate the downfall of the evil, corrupt organization whose character he fits like a glove, and of which he is the absolute and historically appropriate monarch.
No, Pope Ratzinger should not resign. He should remain in charge of the whole rotten edifice – the whole profiteering, woman-fearing, guilt-gorging, truth-hating, child-raping institution – while it tumbles, amid a stench of incense and a rain of tourist-kitsch sacred hearts and preposterously crowned virgins, about his ears.

Naw. Islam is far, far more a “woman-fearing, guilt-gorging, truth-hating, child-raping institution” but Islamists get violent.
Suddenly, the “pedophile priest” feeding frenzy is on again. Nobody held J.P. II personally responsible when the storm broke nine years ago but now that the hated Pope Benedict is in charge, suddenly he’s held personally responsible for every single act of priestly misconduct anywhere in the world.
Is he going to get the Michael Savage treatment for this attack on a religion?

Yea. Talk about a quick fizzle out. I guess Ra is not strong with him.
They of course will say nothing of the kind about Muslims no matter what they do.

But all of it pales in comparison to thirty year old abuses by people who are now dead.
Catholic Christians will not take up arms. But we will pray for St Michael the Archangel to do so in the spiritual realm.

Amen: If the very Gates of Hell shall not prevail against the Church, WaPo and Dawkins will be at most tumbleweed in a storm.
Can someone tell me why it is never reported that most children are molested by a family member, or protestant ministers have been guilty of child molestation at a higher percentage than Catholics. And where are those stats or the stats of the rabbi’s who are guilty of child molestation. Anyone who molests a child should be thrown in jail with the keys thrown away, but lets have some honest reporting. Why always bash the Catholics?
Methinks Nancy Pelosi’s Excommunication is IMMINENT.
