President Obama is about to demonstrate once again a complete lack of understanding of how the world works and of the effective use of US power. According to the New York Times the President will announce tomorrow a new nuclear strategy that would “substantially narrow the conditions under which the United States would use nuclear weapons, even in self-defense.” The President will essentially tie one hand behind our back and invite our enemies to be more aggressive because they will no longer face the threat of a nuclear response from the United States. As with several of his other policy decisions, this new strategy will make the United States and our allies less safe.
In what amounts to unilateral disarmament, the heart of the new strategy is an explicit commitment by the United States not to use nuclear weapons against any nonnuclear state...

Apparently, no one ever explained the concept of deterrence to 0bamao, or perhaps he was just to stupid or arrogant to grasp it.
I think it’s actually a rather sage position. By guaranteeing non-use of nuclear weapons against non-nuclear states, you are removing the incentive of states who’s primary enemy is the United States from developing them.
That is not only an admirable moral high ground, it is also a very practical in that it will simply reduce the number of would-be proliferators.
Crazies like Iran and North Korea are obvious exceptions, but they aren’t really the states targeted by that decision.
Frankly, where have you been? Most of us have known this fact for a long time. Rush brings it up almost daily....that the Marxist-in-Chief is DELIBERATELY causing chaos and economic collapse.
When, thanks to his dictatorship and thievery, you have no money other than what you need to eat and be housed, when you have no capital left over to invest and better your living standards and old-age security, then you are a SLAVE....and economic slaves are what Obama needs to flip this nation from capitalism to communism without resistance.
This is why I constantly point out how dangerous weasels like Bill O'Reilly are. There's hardly a night he doesn't give Obama the benefit of the doubt just so he, O'Reilly, is considered "fair".
O'Reilly would only be another buffoonish hustler and self-promoting snake-oil salesman if not for the fact he reaches such a wide audience. He is a willing Obama regime tool in that he deliberately lulls the uneducated to even more ignorant complacency and keeps them there month after month while the Marxist-in-Chief marches straight ahead to implement the bloodless takeover of the country.

For any citizen who loves this country there should never be any giving Obama the "benefit of the doubt". To do so, even for a moment, is the most perilous thing that can be done. It takes educating oneself plus iron resolve to stand firm against pure evil. It's critically important that we take the offensive NOW against the economic Death Machine grinding away from inside and around the Oval Office.....aimed at us and our families.

I suspect the ONLY reason Saddam Hussein did not employ gas in Desert Storm is because GHWB was quite vocal about suggesting that we would very likely retaliate with nukes.
Had Malcolm O been president at the time with this policy in place, Hussein would have used gas (and possibly bio) against us, just as he had the Iranians and the Kurds.
