Of course, many of the mainstream TEA Party members are more conservative than liberal, but we’ve been told by the media there are few “other than white” faces at TEA Party events. Will Gallup’s recent poll put an end to the TEA Party race component question? USA Today and Gallup got together to conduct telephone interviews with about 1,000 adults at the end of March. About three in 10 proclaimed they were supporters of the TEA Party movement. From the Gallup site…

Also interesting in the Gallup poll is that 6% of the Tea Party is black and blacks make up 11% of the population.

The Tea Party folks are the glue holding this country together. I’ll bet a good many have served in the military or have family members who do/have. Tea Party participants are patriotic, law abiding, decent, hard-working people. It is always an honor to be among them.

All they had to do was look at the thousands of pictures, taken by Tea Party attendees, available everywhere except on the alphabet LSMs - to figure that out.

That graphic pretty closely dovetails with with my impressions of the last rally I was at. Of course it doesn’t include the Hispanics, the Asians, the Vietnamese, etc that were there, but who is counting? ;)

Plenty of vets at every Tea Party. I know, I’ve been to seven Tea Parties now. They get lots of hugs, handshakes, greetings and just plain gratitude from everyone else.

I wonder if the White House is reading what you just wrote. Patriotism, decency and law abiding is something the WH doesn’t have a clue about.
