And no Republican thought this important enough to mention during the months leading up to the passage of The Monstrosity?

Maybe because it was buried to deep...

So now can we expect a rising cry of rebellion on this issue from the other side of the aisle?

When?

Tomorrow?

Starting tomorrow morning?

If not then, when?

On that principle alone Catholics should be able to opt out too because of the coverage of abortion.

The content is irrelevant. Any federal version of health care is unconstitutional since Article 1 Section 8 does not specifically grant Congress the power to regulate health care. The people are not bound by an unconstitutional act. This is the point people need to impress on their Congress critters!

I believe that muslims, like communists, are on their best behavior when they are afraid.

Muslims are specifically exempted from the government mandate to purchase insurance, and also from the penalty tax for being uninsured.

I guess I'd be more convinced if the author could cite the exact part of the law that says this.

PERSONAL LETTER FROM SENATOR RICHARD LUGAR'S HEALTH CARE POLICY AID.

Some weeks ago, after reading this post about "dhimmitude" in Obamacare, I wrote to Senator Richard Lugars office about this issue. I also requested procedures for applying for exemption on the basis of my religious convictions.

I do not like the softness of Richard Lugar's positions on many issues. But he did firmly oppose Obamacare, and he does seem to be paying close attention us on this matter.

This is the first personal reply I have ever received from a senatorial office, and it indicates that my letter original letter to Senator Lugar was read and discussed by the Senator to his staff.

I hope all who have read this post will read this letter from Senator Lugar's health care policy aid.

--------------------------------------

[Salutation]

I am Senator Lugar’s health care policy aid. The Senator shared with me your email and questions regarding the religious conscience exemption to the individual mandate to purchase/obtain health insurance that was included in the health care bill. Incidentally, as you may know, Senator Lugar did not support passage of this legislation.

I attempted to reach you by phone but understand you may be abroad and that email is a better way to reach you. I am happy to discuss this issue telephonically if you would prefer. I can be reached at (202) 224-4814.

In what I hope may answer your questions: The bill does not expressly mention any specific groups as exempt. The language mirrors provisions in existing law for such programs as Social Security and Medicare. My understand, though I am not a layer, is that these clauses have arisen as a response from court challenges from Amish communities and others over the years who did not want to pay into or receive benefits from these public programs.

I’m not sure where this “dhimmitude” rumor started, but that phrase is NOT in the bill. Again, the bill does NOT mention members of any specific religious faith or group as exempt but rather refers to the existing tax code.

Ultimately, as stated in the legislative text, implementation of this provision will be left up to the Secretary of Health and Human Services. The Senator has heard similar concerns from other constituents, and we have contacted HHS to inquire if and when they will issue guidance on who would qualify for an exemption and how they would make such an application. Because the so-called individual mandate does not come into effect until 2014, guidance has not been developed. It will likely be quite some time before the agency promulgates the rules (through the public rulemaking process) on the topic.

It is certainly an issue we will follow closely. Again, I am happy to try to answer any questions you may have. I prefer phone, but understand email may be a far more convenient option for you.

Kind Regards,

Alex

Dhimmitude -(what does it mean) Obama used it in the health care bill...

Now Ain’t this something!?

Dhimmitude- I had never heard the word until now-—Type it into Google and start reading. Pretty interesting. It’s on page 107 of the healthcare bill. I looked this up on Google and yep, it exists! It is a REAL word. Amish are also excluded. I think I could become Amish a whole lot easier than Muslim.

Word of the Day: Dhimmitude

Dhimmitude is the Muslim system of controlling non-muslim populations conquered through jihad. Specifically, it is the TAXING of non-muslims in exchange for tolerating their presence AND as a coercive means of converting conquered remnants to islam.

The ObamaCare bill is the establishment of Dhimmitude and Sharia muslim diktat in the United States . Muslims are specifically exempted from the government mandate to purchase insurance, and also from the penalty tax for being uninsured. Islam considers insurance to be “gambling”, “risk-taking” and “usury” and is thus banned. Muslims are specifically granted exemption based on this.

How convenient. So I, Ann Barnhardt, a Christian, will have crippling IRS liens placed against all of my assets, including real estate, cattle, and even accounts receivables, and will face hard prison time because I refuse to buy insurance or pay the penalty tax. Meanwhile, Louis Farrakhan will have no such penalty and will have 100% of his health needs paid for by the de facto government insurance. Non-muslims will be paying a tax to subsidize muslims. Period. This is Dhimmitude.

Dhimmitude serves two purposes: it enriches the muslim masters AND serves to drive conversions to islam. In this case, the incentive to convert to islam will be taken up by those in the inner-cities as well as the godless Generation X, Y and Z types who have no moral anchor. If you don’t believe in Christ to begin with, it is no problem whatsoever to sell Him for 30 pieces of silver. “Sure, I’ll be a muslim if it means free health insurance and no taxes. Where do I sign, bro?”

I recommend sending this post to your contacts. This is desperately important and people need to know about it - quickly.
