I wonder. Is it just coincidence that the Nuclear Security Summit logo looks an awful lot like an Islamic crescent?
Here's a couple of interesting images from the summit, along with an actual Islamic crest for your consideration.
And by the way, do you remember the Islamic crest that's now the logo of our Missile Defense Agency?

I am pretty sure that it’s a hydrogen atom.

It just represents the circular high energy colliders of today.

That’s interesting. I’ve never known either hydrogen atoms or particle accelerators were formed in the image of an ISlamic crescent. Hmmm

It just represents the circular high energy colliders of today. I thought it represented 0bamao running around in circles ...

Yeah, I think that’s a bit of an overreaction. I can understand the desire to assign that quality to the symbol, but I don’t buy it.
And for my part, I think it’s a hula hoop. It’s all fun and games in the Obamanation!

You think hula hoops are 5/6 of a circle?

Thats interesting. Ive never known either hydrogen atoms or particle accelerators were formed in the image of an ISlamic crescent. Hmmm stop it. it's embarrassing.

Yeah. That isn’t a crescent. Thanks for making my point. A circle is an entire 360 degrees, while a crescent is generally the shape produced when a circular disk has a segment of another circle removed from its edge, so that what remains is a shape enclosed by two circular arcs of different diameters which intersect at two points (usually in such a manner that the enclosed shape does not include the center of the original circle). Which one fits the Nuclear Security Summit logo? A crescent or a 360 degree circle like in the hydrogen atom graphic? You’re right. You should be embarrassed.

No, but I see this
To: nysuperdoodle
you are aware of the role of hydrogen isotopes in thermonuclear weapons, right?

Yes I learned a little about that while getting my physics degree. You are aware that a circle and a crescent are two different geometric shapes, right? Can you find me any other crescent images of the hydrogen atom? I’ve always seen the valence electron of a hydrogen atom represented as a circle... but then again maybe you know something my poor little brain doesn’t...

What's your point? Does this post have to do with the fact that you're confused about the difference between a crescent and a circle? Now I'm confused. Maybe you're a troll and that's your objective... It's been said that intelligence is measured by your ability to recognize patterns. Do you see a pattern here?
If not, maybe you want to admit that a crescent is a crescent and a circle is a circle and they are two different geometrical shapes, and that you now understand that. That would be progress.
