It is becoming more and more clear that we are living as it was during the Exodus. The God of Israel was dealing directly, at the very moment, with Pharaoh and Egypt. This is what is going on as I write. As the nations organize against Jerusalem, direct judgment is hitting them. All one needs is spiritual eyes to discern this. It appears that the curse of Isaiah 24:5 is now hovering over Europe. The EU wants to bully Israel over Jerusalem and Great Britain just declared on April 14, that the Western Wall of the Temple Mount is not part of Israel! Great Britain is now bearing the burnt of the volcano! The ash fallout heads directly to Great Britain! The following time line shows how quickly the nations are being judged over Jerusalem. It really does look that the final battle between the nations and the Holy God of Israel has begun. The Second Coming of the Lord Jesus has to near. May the God of Israel bless and protect you.

One little ash cloud does not make a rapture!
Who’s talking about rapture?
Oh calm down. Volcanoes erupt all the time.
>>How many times have I heard this prophetic warning over my lifetime?<<
And how long is your lifetime? It is a mist. A nanosecond in the scheme of things. The day the Lord returns, many will be saying exactly what you just posted.
>>One little ash cloud does not make a rapture!<<
You appear to be attempting to assemble the first straws of a straw man. That is not being discussed.
To be Fair, I have no clue who John McTernan is.
All I'm saying is I've heard all this before a number of times in my 47 year. Man, that hurts to type that age! ;-)
>>All I’m saying is I’ve heard all this before a number of times in my 47 year.<<
Me too. However, I’ve dug pretty deeply into it and a lot falls on 1948, the nation of Israel, the discovery of the dead sea scrolls and the 70 weeks of Daniel. I’ll be honest here: A real window I see for the Lord’s return closes in 2018. If we get past that, the whole 70’th week of Daniel crowd will have to do some re-calculating, in my opinion.
But I mainly stick with the “recognising the seasons” sort of thing. To relate to the analogy in the Bible, the closer we get to the “day of harvest”, the more accurately we will be able to predict the time. In the middle of summer, harvest day is pretty much anybody’s guess. As fall approaches, estimated timeframes narrow.
It spewed.
Been happening for millions of years.

“Dear United Kingdom
In response to your demand to send cash immediately ...
Please note the Icelandic Alphabet does not contain the letter “C”.
We have complied with your request as best as our language allows.
It’s not easy to conjure up a volcano at will to spew tons of ash.
Please consider our debt paid in full.
Respectfully yours
Iceland”

And looking at long term history of the earth, we (man in general) seems to have had it comparatively easy.
The record seems to show that volcano's were actually more prevalent and more destructive than now.
Maybe the earthquakes and volcano's are actually just the earth getting back to "normal".
Maybe Yellowstone is next...
I don’t think earthquakes or rumors of war are a sign of the end times. Read Matt 24 and see that Jesus indicates this is part of the norm and advises his followers “do not be alarmed”. Mat 24:6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.
The sign of the end times is: Mat 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. 15”So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’[b] spoken of through the prophet Daniellet the reader understand 16then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains
good show to watch... i do know i want to be in the right place and with the right crowd when these earthly lights go out...psalm 90:1-4
