Mitt Romney, the former Republican Governor of Massachusetts is a smart businessman who is known for turning around the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympic games, but I'm not sure the former Governor is aware of his current political situation. I know you all might not like him for his RINO-ishness, but listen to this.
A situation of sitting on pure political gold.

Exactly! The same folks who regularly flunk Hannity's Man in the Street question, "Who is the VP?" are suddenly going to snap to and say, "Calvin Coolidge! Well why didn't you say that in the first place, Mitt." And here I thought the 4/20 celebration was over for a few days. Guess not.

Carville(D): "It's a feel-good story, this Romney thing.
Romney is an ascendant guy."
RomneyCARE-creator, backstabbing, carpetbagging, vote-buying, fake-badge using Mitt Romney:
I will be the GOP nominee, wisely supported by TIME magazine, Eleanor Clift and even James Carville.
One more thing you lousy FReepers and conservatives,
now that my Romneycare is national, ready to hurt
three hundred million, a little self examination is in order for you.
You may want to ask yourself if I had spent my time promoting
RomneyCare and Mitt Romney, could not I have garnered more support
of both Mr. Obama and Gov. Mitt Romney?
Romney praises Obama again
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney praised President Obama
at a GOP fundraising dinner Wednesday ..
"I also think it's important for us to nod to the president when he's right," Romney said....
Romney, who spoke at a dinner for the National Republican Senatorial Committee,
said he's pleased with the president's plans to "finish the job" in Iraq and Afghanistan
-- lines that drew applause from the partisan audience. He also applauded the president
for standing up to the auto industry.
"I hope he continues to be tough ....The former businessman even offered faint praise for
Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner, saying that after a series of initial missteps,
"I think he's finally getting close to the right answer."

Ill take anyone over Obama and his desires to curb my freedom and empty my wallet.
Hillary? William Ayers? Sonia Sotameyer? Chris Mathews?
they all fit the anyone requirement.

Your support would matter little. By the time they played the commercials of Romney’s liberal views, he would be toast among enough of the electorate to kill any chance of election. Worse, he would destroy any gains we make in 2010 in the House and Senate.

He's more like Hoover, a technocrat. Correct. Hoover was also a fine person and genuinely decent. He had a great record of accomplishment as a businessman and humanitarian, but he wasn't the right man to be president. He was also unable to figure out when the statists rolled him to serve their own ends.
That's an unfortunate quality which Mitt has in common not only with Hoover but with John McCain.

And he recently admitted that RomneyCare worked only because the feds footed half the bill (that means taxpayers from the other 49 states).

Mitt was a terrible Gov, I worked for him, the alternative was worse. He gave it a try for the first two years and gave up, pulled a Juan McCain.
He then tries to out rat the rats, failed and left Muffey Healy holding the bag, her main qualification was Breasts. He then left the State for greener pastures.

“may not like him” hardly describes my feelings toward Mittens.

A vote for Romney in the primary, could very well be a vote for another 4 years of Obama and a bloody civil war.

Romney, the liberal press likes him. ALL the Washington insiders like him. Heck, I’m sure Obama LOVES him. Sounds like the criteria the Republican party has been using to pick candidates since Bush Sr.
