I have to disagree with you. Jackson was corrupt, just like Obama...looking out for his $$$$ special interests.
Yes, he fought the good fight at Horseshoe Bend/1812 war.
But kind of like McCain being elevated to where he is because of being a ‘war hero’. BTW, The Ridge Cherokees fought beside Jackson in that war, saved his life. After the war, he still took their land.
Almost 30,000 now.
Anyone with a drop of cherokee blood (which I proudly claim) should have a genetic built-in distrust of government.
