I think that the general rule is: liberals/Democrats/MSM types such as Chris Matthews can tell all the jokes they want, about any subject, but, Republicans/Conservatives attempts at humor are ALWAYS in bad taste, evil, hurtful, you name it.
Because conservatives tote respect and it is part of their political dogma.
Liberals are nothing but money whores making a living distributing wealth for votes in return.
