The game posts on FB can be hidden. Mouse over the upper right-hand corner of the game-generated post, and you’ll see a “Hide” link. Click it, and you’re presented with three choices: 1) Hide all posts for that person, 2) Hide posts from the game in question, or 3) Cancel. Choose #2, and voila, no more annoying posts from that game.

I’ve done that, but it goes beyond the game thing. My neighbor (who I dislike...both of them) is online and all she does is talk about her ‘do’, and other childish stuff. This, when she’s supposed to be home-schooling her youngest. Stuff like that’s hard to ‘hide’. And she wasn’t the only one.
I finally said ‘enough’ and pulled the plug. It may well give me a new lease on life with my genealogy research, which I haven’t followed for a few years.
Will you have the lyrics to "Self-Recanted Evening" (to the tune of "Some Enchanted Evening") written in time? I can't wait!
Yeah, FB can be a major time-burner. The joke that Betty White told on SNL about FB really has an element of truth — a tremendous waste of time.

Hilarious! Unfortunately, I will miss the rich in humor DUFUs that come from the writing of Will Pitt. For that reason, I hope he ends up reinstated.
