Here is video of Rob Simmons, GOP Candidate for the U.S. Senate in Connecticut, on "Hardball" where he told Chris Matthews that Richard Blumenthal "should apologize" for misrepresenting his military service by saying he served "in Vietnam" when he did not.
Chris Matthews then said there are "two possibilities" as to why Blumenthal would say he was in Vietnam when he never was:
Either he is a "liar," or "he's got a mental problem of some different kind, or psychological disorder we're not familiar with."
Rob Simmons said "I think he didn't misspeak - he misled. He didn't misspeak, he misled."
Chris Matthews did say he believes Blumenthal should "get out of politics for awhile and pay his price for this, and maybe run later."
Is that Chris Matthews accusing someone of possibly having a "mental disorder?"

Why not both? Blumenthal is an egotist on the order of Matthews.
For a liberal Democrat, both conditions are likely to coexist.

Chris should know all about mental problems. Or if he doesn’t, he can always consult with Keith.

Matthews is clearly projecting.
All this means is that the rats (including Tingles Matthews) are looking for a replacement in the Connecticut Senate Race.
Mathews wants him to step down now so they’ll have time to find someone else to run.
Oh yes its the ole “mental problem” defense. See here is how it works. If someone shoots a gay or a black or a transvestite or an environmentalist or an abortion clinic doctor or a well you get the idea then they tell us the whole right wing is to blame. But if say a someone walks into a church and shoots the evangelical preacher or maybe a guy named Mohammad shots a bunch of people on a military base or say a middle eastern man were to try to plant a bonb in a major city like say New York City then we explain that away by saying they “had mental problems”.
So is Obama a liar or does he have a mental problem Chrissy?
I got stuck—because I’m at my Mom’s taking care of her—watching a little of Chrissy tonight. Hilarious how he still doesn’t get Rush. Falls into the trap every time.
