Police Sgt. Kim Munley ("hope2forget30" on Twitter) was the one who took down Nidal Malik Hasan during the Ft. Hood massacre, and was severely injured in doing so. She has had to have several surgeries, including
total knee replacement and suffered a lot of pain because of her bravery in dealing with that loser.
In case you don't remember her (yeah, the MSM has focused sooooooo much on the heroes of Ft. Hood TERRORIST attack on American soil!) here's some articles about her from that time:
'Tough woman' cop hailed Fort Hood hero
ABC News: Fort Hood Hero Kimberly Munley's Gunfight With Major Nidal Malik Hasan- Wounded in Both Legs and Wrist, Sergeant Kept Firing
"If she had not responded the way she had, we would have had an extremely high number of dead and injured," Medley said. "The number of lives that this person saved ... we will probably never know. But there is a lot of ammunition left, a lot of magazines," he said referring to what Hasan was allegedly carrying.
NYDaily News: 'Tough cookie' Sgt. Kimberly Munley took down Fort Hood gunman, Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan
Police Sgt. Kim Munley is being hailed as a hero for taking down suspected Fort Hood gunman
Munley with her two daughters.
I know that FReepers will NEVER forget Sgt. Kim Munley's sacrifices for the soldiers of Ft. Hood. If you can help her out, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

How does she need help? Aren’t all of her medical expenses being paid for by her medical policy? Does she need legal assistance? I understand that if a person “goes out” on a medical disability, an attorney is needed to protect his rights.
Something is bad wrong if this brave hero is needing assistance with her medical or legal expenses, while all of Hussein’s are paid.

That is my question — what does she need that is not being provided?
No question she done good on the day when she was needed — but what support is she lacking? I’ll give if need be, but is there a need be?

I agree, this sounds like someone trying to make some bucks of another person’s heroism!

No, this is Kim Munley asking for help. I don’t know if it’s for herself, or for someone else who was involved in the Ft. Hood massacre. I just figured we have so many FReepers, that hopefully some of them could offer some assistance to her. She deserves that much.
For all we know, she may be disabled for the rest of her life due to the terrible injuries she suffered that day. Maybe her insurance doesn’t cover that, I don’t really know. Anyone who is interested in helping her with SUGGESTIONS could just respond to her Twitter account (posted above).
