Democrat Chooses A Different President For Help

When President Barack Obama needed that all important 60th vote to ram through his health care reform bill, Senator Blanche Lincoln (D-Arkansas) was there for him. But now that Senator Lincoln is facing a tough Democratic Senate run-off against Lt. Governor Bill Halter (D), she's turning to former President Bill Clinton instead of President Obama for help.

Still won’t help her. Clinton’s coattails were just as useless as Obama’s are turning out to be.

Clinton still has a lot of pull in Arkansas. She was wise to turn to him instead. Don’t know if it will be enough. She’s burned some bridges. But I’ve learned to never count chickens before they hatch when it comes to democrats. I’m hoping she is about to retire.
