Many Arlington Residents Have Expressed Unhappiness With Rolling Thunder
Arlington, Virginia Yupette ^ | June 8, 2010

Hello Yupette,

Thank you for your blog.

You should know that many Arlingtonians have expressed unhappiness about the noise and bad behavior from 'Rolling Thunder' We recently suggested that 'Rolling Thunder' move to a resort area like Virginia Beach and that 'Rolling Thunder' be replaced by bicycle and pedestrian events. We were ignored.

Thanks for trying to improve our quality of life, not cater to every special interest that wants to do its thing in Arlington.

Susan

Motorcycles ARE GREEN vehicles. they have always been environmentally friendly. Federal law mandates all states allow motorcycles use the HOV lanes without charge and even if only one person is on board.

I saw the crux as she wants YOU to do it her way and she did not offer or want to do anything to contribute.

like all good leftists, she takes and gives nothing.

Re the Arlington whiner -

She would really have hated it here in Kerrville, TX last weekend. The Rolling Thunder, 100 strong, honored one of our Marines as he was laid to rest. Marine Cpl. Jacob Leicht was the 1000th United States military hero killed in Afghanistan. Miss Whiner would no doubt have found fault that hundreds of our citizens lined the miles long procession route in 95 degree temperature to say goodbye to our fallen hero.
