Makes no sense. I suspect you have remembered it a bit wrong. It seems to me that it is prudent for a company to have emergency plans in place - including recorded responses for those who call in. My company does, including emergency response procedures that involve employee decon. It is a bit absurd to think this company has inside intel on a November meltdown. Well, unless it's November of 2012, of course...
