From the Cape Cod Times:
SOUTH YARMOUTH Some students are calling for the firing of two Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School teachers who held an anti-war sign during a school assembly Friday....
When D-Y resource Officer Nicholas R. Pasquarosa Jr. addressed the crowd, comparing the volunteer enlistees to a sheepdog standing between the flock and a wolf, Verani and Koscher stood on the bleachers and held an "end war" sign while everyone else sat. It seems that in a season of rebellion against the ruling class, the rebellion is spilling over into a general rebellion against the foot soldiers of the ruling class.
A healthy development. James Kinney of West Barnstable, who knows Verani and wrote a letter to the editor of the Cape Cod Times in her support, defended the teachers.
"I think that it's important to show dissent," he said. "I think that's the highest form of patriotism." Kinney may want to consider that dissenting against dissenters is an even higher form of patriotism.

I said: "Dissent is patriotic."
She was so mad she couldn't speak, turned red, and walked away.
We need a follow-up on that when it happens.
They need to hold up a “Stop Jihad Now!” sign.
Fire their asses.
The conditions of employment are set by the employer, if they find these conditions too difficult, for example the requirement to act like mature adults instead of foolish asses while on duty, they can find work elsewhere.
Their political views are NOT germane to their job. It would be the same as if I stood up in the middle of a corp meeting and started blabbing about Free Republic to everyone.
A few years ago I had to fire an engineer who had nothing but political agendas. Straightaway he tried taking over operations (I was the boss BTW), and going into far left political rants, with the phrase “effing American b@st@rds” thrown in frequently (he was U.S. born). I fired him in short order. I didn’t care how much “experience” he had.
This is what pisses me off. They behave like clowns and we are suppose to just stand around watching them while they do it on the taxpayers dime.
Don't these idiots realize that they are now the ruling class? I guess the power of sucessful rhetoric is just too great.
