Why is the U.S. government threatening famous Hamas informant with deportation

The Institute on Religion and Democracy is expressing concern after reports this week that Mosab Hassan Yousef, the son of Hamas leader Sheikh Hassan Yousef, is currently threatened with deportation from the United States. Yousef came to the United States in 2007 and applied for political asylum, converting from Islam to Christianity and writing a best-selling book, "Son of Hamas" about his experiences in the radical Islamic organization and subsequent work as a spy for Israel helping to foil terrorist and suicide bombings and saving Israeli, Palestinian and American lives.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Yousef's asylum request was denied in February 2009, Mr. Yousef says, on grounds that he was potentially "a danger to the security of the United States" and had "engaged in terrorist activity." He faces a deportation hearing June 30.

Under a provision of U.S. immigration law, anyone who is shown to have provided "material support" for terrorist organizations is automatically denied asylum.

Yousef became a Christian after a British cabdriver in Jerusalem gave him an English-Arabic copy of the New Testament and invited him to a Bible Study. "I found that I was really drawn to the grace, love and humility that Jesus talked about," says Yousef in "Son of Hamas."

Yes, let’s deport all the smart people who love America and keep the drug dealers, coyotes, and uneducated refuse who hate America.

More brilliance from the 0bama government.

I’ve read “Son of Hamas” and it’s a very interesting and informative book. I’ve heard him interviewed by Hannity on FOX. I believe that he did convert to Christianity, as he stated that the problem with Islam is that it believes in an evil god and that jihad is just the upper rung of the muslim ladder to religious perfection.

If he is deported to a muslim country, it will be a death sentence. And the real irony is, if he were a practicing muslim, he would not be the subject of deportation hearings.

Let’s also keep Obama’s auntie. After all, she’d be in far more danger in Kenya than the Son of Hamas would be from vengeful jihadis.

Because the result will be his slaughter
and a message of antisemitism from 1600 Pennsylvania Ave
and its undocumented inhabitant.

Thanks for reminding me that the illegal Kenyan “president” also has an illegal Kenyan auntie in the country.

A lot of people don’t know that she was spared the inconvenience of garden-variety public housing and moved straight into Senior public housing. Much nicer and safer, with far more amenities. (Though she’s only in her fifties—56 iirc.)

Maybe the ‘persecution’ Zeutuni feared in Kenya was that the taxpayers wouldn’t replace her other knee, the way American taxpayers replaced her first one. Downright dangerous to live in a country where not ALL expenses are paid by Other People’s Taxes.

It has also been revealed that Yousef was a Shen Beit agent for years. If he is deported to any Islamic country, he will disappear. Its time for the Christians in this country to step up and hide this man against the government thugs who will dutifully carry out almost any order handed down by Mahogeny Row.
