Nancy Pelosi is asking supporters to donate NOW to help prevent "subpoenas and investigations" resulting from a GOP majority. I'll say that again: Pelosi sees a House GOP majority coming at her fast, and she is in full-panic mode.
Mama Pelosi is trying to protect Barack Obama, but could she also be personally concerned? Remember the Eric Massa scandal? Remember Air Pelosi and the abuse of her air force plane - her family riding - without her, in fact without anyone from the House traveling?

Nancy has little to fear.
Republicans have proved themselves gutless time after time.
We don’t have enough investigators and prosecutors to handle half the hidden filth or enough rope to hang the guilty ones!

She certainly must have MUCH, MUCH more to fear from investigations than we know. Trying to protect Obama, my a$$, most of the dirt is on her and Reid.
Lord, please be with us and help us elect candidates who have some backbone and not afraid of anyone.
Alas, most of the old Republican hands on deck are as corrupt as Pelosi, Reid and Obama. They won't do anything for fear they will be exposed for what they are, and they don't care if we call them RINO's, as long as they get some payoff down the road. Then PRETEND they were against everything the Dems do.
Plain and simple the R's do not fear us, they fear what the D's will expose on them more.
Pelosi can go the way of Gephart.
Because she is resigned to the inevitibility of the situation. We WILL regain the House. We may regain the Senate. She will win re-election. However, with that win will come powerlessness. She will be in the minority. She will be powerless to do anything. She will be stripped of her gavel, her perks, “her” plane, her title of Speaker of the House, and she will be treated like the yard dog she is. She will be relegated to the dust bin of history.
She’d better hope her prediciton is wrong. Should the Democrats lose the House I doubt she’ll be kept on as minority leader. They’ll look for a new broom to clean house.
I was thinking the same thing. This just delights me!

The only thing better than seeing Nancy as a back-bencher would be to see her as a private citizen. Unfortunately, given her district of drugged-out hippies and welfare queens of every stripe, it ain’t gonna happen.

In order to get people to send money you must make them believers. Sounds like Nutjob Nancy knows exactly what the people are thinking.

I think she’ll retire after one more term if she loses the speakership. At that point she’d be 72, and she hardly needs the $$.
After a trip to SF earlier this month, I PRAY that Nancy loses her private military jet. Not that she’d have to go thru all the same security and other hassles the rest of us are subject to, but if she has to fly commercial, that’s good enough for me. I guess the family would have to start paying their own airfare ?
