My problem with the officers isn’t the shooting of the dogs per se.

The common thread is that the officers were executing a legal warrant that was based on erroneous information, and as a result people were falsely imprisoned, kidnapped, traumatized and sometimes shot and killed. Pets were killed and property was damaged and destroyed.

At the very least, the Judge who issued the warrant should be held responsible for his actions. If the Judge and Officers faced criminal sanctions, I guarantee that we wouldn’t hear another one of these stories.

That’s a great suggestion. If there were some way to make the judge and police answerable for the damage done under false warrants, innocents, including pet dogs, could be much safer.
